SERVICES

  • Screening

An informal, qualitative observation of general skills to determine if additional, formal testing is recommended. A screening takes about 20-30 minutes to complete.

Areas to screen may include: receptive language, expressive language, articulation, pragmatic language, reading, and writing skills.

  • Dynamic Assessment

A dynamic assessment is a formal evaluation to measure your child’s present skills. This includes a parent/caregiver interview, thorough case history, observation, and a combination of quantitative and qualitative measure(s) will be administered.

Information gathered during the initial assessment will be utilized to develop an individualized intervention plan and recommendations.

This framework will be the baseline for intervention. A Re-Evaluation is recommended every 6 months to monitor progress and update intervention plan.

  • 1-on-1 Sessions

Individual sessions will target goals developed from the dynamic assessment.

The frequency and duration of treatment sessions is recommended based on your child’s individual needs. Sessions range from 1 to 3x/week for 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions conducted in your home, your child’s school, a local library or virtually.

Recommendations can be modified throughout the 6-month cycle of intervention, based on your child’s progress. Parent/caregiver will receive a brief update on session and idea(s) for carryover.
